Learn about the city's German heritage as you tour the historic Athenaeum, then stay for a beer at Indy's oldest restaurant and traditional German Biergarten. Fountain Square is like the quirky cousin of Indy’s cultural districts with the best kept secrets. This fun little neighborhood sits just south east of the Circle in the heart of downtown and is home to the Murphy Arts building, the Heartland Film Festival, vintage shops, craft cocktail bars, locally owned restaurants, a cozy coffee shop, a vibrant art and indie music scene, burlesque shows, and even a cat cafe! And then of course, there’s the breweries!

Visit four breweries (…technically one is a meadery!) with your local guide. You’ll start by learning the basics of beer tasting like a pro, followed by fun beer facts along the way. Your local guide will tell you all about the neighborhood as you move from brewery to brewery (one of the breweries is pet friendly…so…puppies!!!) Beer tasting samples are included and you’ll walk away with new found knowledge to impress your friends.

Raise a glass to decades past in this hauntingly spirited cocktail and ghost tour. Explore Indy’s own little Bohemia, where free spirits both past and present, wander this historical neighborhood and cultural district known as Fountain Square.

On this journey, you’ll stop at some must-visit locations, including the popular Hotel Tango. Enjoy local, handcrafted cocktails inside this artisan distillery that was once a carriage house, funeral and repair shop for hearse carriages. You’ll also explore a vintage duckpin bowling ally from the 1930’s, then move through time to the Inferno Room - an exotic 1950’s-inspired tiki bar that holds one of the largest collections of Papua New Guinea native art that exists outside of a museum . Along the way, you’ll learn the stories of those who haunt these premises. Stay close to your guide!
