Hello! I’m Amy Beers, founder of Drinking with Beers.
Come drink with me as I show you Indianapolis from a local’s perspective. During these walking tours you’ll learn more about beer, discover some hidden gems, and explore a little of the city’s history and culture.
Ready to come with me on your most memorable drinking adventure? Choose from the list of my carefully crafted tours in some of Indy’s most popular cultural districts.
I look forward to showing you around!

(Yes, my last name really is Beers! And yes, I do like beer!)
I’m an Indiana native and have been living in Indianapolis for almost 10 years. I love this city because of its destination-worthy food and beverage scene. I’ve carefully selected independent and locally-owned establishments to include in my tours for you to enjoy!
I started Drinking with Beers in March of 2018 while working at a brewery. Before then I was a shopping guide onboard a cruise ship and before then I hosted a TV show that served as a city guide to Indianapolis visitors.
I’m a Certified Beer Server studying to become a Cicerone (level 2 beer expert …there are currently less than 4,000 Cicerones in the world!) I’m also a member of Pink Boots Society, a non-profit supporting women beer-industry professionals. My passion for beer lies mostly in history and culture (and of course drinking it!). I’ve earned specialty badges in German, UK, and American beer styles.
I enjoy connecting people to fun and enriching opportunities, and sharing my knowledge of beer. Aside from beer, my other passion is travel. I’ve been to Prague, Thailand, Spain, Ireland, Japan, Vietnam, Mexico, Cuba, and all over the Caribbean. I’m always planning my next adventure. France and Belgium are next on the list!
